Musonda has spent 15 years in senior managerial roles, which allowed her to develop first-hand knowledge and expertise in the management of client relations, technology, risk management, and overall banking operations. Her core strengths also derive from hands-on experience in implementing innovative financial products, corporate governance, managing corporate and retail operations, implementing strategies, and ensuring a zero audit fail environment (Risk Management).
As part of her career accomplishments, Musonda played an instrumental role in the strategic direction of the banking sector in Zambia from 2009-2011, serving as Chairperson of the Bankers Association of Zambia Technical Committee. She was also the only non-CEO member of the National Financial Switch steering committee.
