- The bourse was 83.72 points up

Harare - The All Share Index recovered on Thursday to close in black after firming up 83.72 points to 6,774.61 points to cancel out previous loss record of -1.94% buoyed by major gains in heavyweights.
A resurgence in local and foreign demand stimulated gains in the session as foreign outflows recorded the lowest level this week.
Gains were propelled by all indices, except the small capital index which declined by -1,882.65 to settle at 227,457.73 points. However, the losses were offset by gains in other indices.
The medium cap recovered by a marginal 0.91% to close at 17,230.58 points while the top ten and top 15 indices inched 56.42 and 53.51 change points to close the session in positive territory.
At close day, sugarcane producers, Hippo Valley Estates headlined the gainers with $22.0000 to close firmer at $175.0000. The counter recovered from the previous day losses were it closed lower at $153.0000.
Consumer staples manufacturer, Innscor Limited bounced back to the positive streak after notching $5.1202 to end at $97.0769.
Meanwhile, Masimba Holdings was $4.5754 firmer at $37.9686 while TSL traded higher at $1.4592 to settle at $48.9000.
Other gains were propelled by First Mutual Properties which increased by $1.1479 stronger at $12.35000.
However, gains were offset by the retail and hospitality counter, Meikles Limited which traded lower at $1.9088 to $88.0303. On the positive side, the government on Wednesday approved sit-in patrons for the fully vaccinated, a development that is expected to benefit the hospitality segment.
Zimbabwe's largest commercial bank by assets and deposits, CBZ limited tumbled by $1.1478 to $80.0034 while regional cement maker Lafarge eased $0.6667 to finish lower at $93.3333.
Tobacco manufacturer and distributor, BAT extended its losses to $920.0000 after further declining by $0.6500.
Getbucks Microfinance fell for a third consecutive session by a further -4.16% as it eased $0.3643 to $8.33857.
