Harare- The mining industry has made significant strides in gold production, already exceeding last year's total.
As of November, miners have sold 32 tonnes of gold, surpassing the 30.1 tonnes recorded for all of 2023.
With a target of 35 tonnes for the current year, the industry is on track for a strong performance.
November saw a notable increase in gold deliveries, reaching 3,766 kg, more than double the 1,489 kg delivered in November 2022.
Although slightly lower than October's 4,167 kg, this robust performance highlights the sector's recovery and potential for further growth as it approaches its annual target.
