April producer inflation rises to 4.4%

South Africa‘s producer price inflation (PPI) quickened to 4.4% year-on-year in April compared with 3.7% in March, the statistics agency said on Thursday.
On a month-on-month basis, April PPI rose 1% after shrinking 0.2% in March, StatisticsSouth Africa said.
