Harare- ZB Financial Holdings Limited has announce the appointment of Luxon Zembe as the Chairperson of the ZB Financial Holdings Limited Board, effective from 1 August 2023. Luxon brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, having served in various prominent positions throughout his distinguished career.
With over 30 years of corporate governance oversight, foresight, and insight experience across various sectors of the economy, Luxon has established himself as a reputable business leader. He has previously served as a Board Member of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Group Chairman of CBZ Holdings Limited, and Head of Human Capital Development and Change Management for Standard Chartered Bank across the African region.
“The Board, Management and staff of ZB Financial Holdings congratulate Luxon on his appointment as Chairman to the Board and wish him the very best in his new role,” said the Company.
Luxon's career highlights also include being a key member of the Standard Chartered Bank International Team of Global Change Agents and Leadership Development. He is the founding Executive Chairman and co-owner of Management Solutions Group of Companies, which encompasses business and management consultancy, offshore investments advisory services, commercial farming, and hospitality and tourism.
Throughout his career, Luxon has held various leadership positions, including President of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, President of the Zimbabwe Institute of Management, and President of Professional SMEs. He has also been involved in multiple professional and industry associations, such as the Institute of People Management and the Institute of Management Consultants.
Luxon's expertise extends beyond business leadership, as he has served as Chairman and Board Member for several institutions, including World Vision Zimbabwe, Institute of Directors, PSMI Medical Institutions, and Air Zimbabwe.
He is also a certified corporate governance consultant and trainer and an ILO certified business development consultant.
