FCB new MD, Tapera Mushoriwa
- Tapera Mushoriwa has been appointed as the new MD
- He takes over from Ciaran McSharry
- McSharry had been with FCB since 2018
Harare- First Capital Bank, a Victoria Falls Stock Exchange -listed outfit has appointed Tapera Mushoriwa as the new Managing Director (MD).
In a circular, the Bank said Mushoriwa will take over from Ciaran McSharry, who was the Bank's MD since 2020 and with the Bank since 2018.
Mushoriwa is a former NBS MD (2022), and previously served as a head of digital banking at Cassava Fintech International, a leading tech company in Zimbabwe.
“The board would like to express its sincere appreciation to Ciaran for his leadership and contributions over the past five years,” said the Bank in a circular.
“The Bank is now better positioned for success as a result of the improvements he made to the business’ strategy, structure and culture.”
The Bank said McSharry will be supporting the Bank up to September this year to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
“The Board wishes Tapera the greatest of success in his new role,” concluded the Bank in a circular.
