Malawi February inflation slows to 7.8 percent year-on-year

Malawi's consumer inflation quickened to 8.1 percent year-on-year in February from 7.1 percent in January, official data showed on Thursday.
The National Statistical Office also said the month-on-month consumer price-growth rate stood at 2.1 percent in February compared with 4.5 percent in January.
